So, i tried weed against my stomach pains, and guess what?, it's now gone/non existant almost, i won't smoke anymore weed untill i have loads of pain again though, smoking weed sucks.

So how are you people doing? <3

Well I'm glad it works, though it isn't something I would recommend. Sounds like you have the right idea to only do it when it really hurts.

I am doing well. Enjoying my summer vacation of relaxation and doing nothing. It is fantastic!

If he were in Cali he could get a card for that. Then everyone would want to be his best friend! Though seriously, smoking can definitely screw your lungs up. I'm up to running 2.5 miles a day, I'd rather not ruin that by smoking some crap. No drugs for me.

It was not acquired through a doctor, it was acquired from sister, i wanted to try because i had a really really bad day with pains, and it worked. :P

yet another day of 95+ temps....just standing within a foot of my balcony door is hot, cant wait to see the debt I have from the a/c being on almost constantly

though I think I saw that the temps are going to come down a bit next week--would be a good thing (lost a few of my herbs because of the heat already).
bleh just too dang hot.

me either--just because I was born on a day when it was over 100 and the hospital I was born in had no a/c (this was the '60's remember)...doesnt mean I LIKE it that hot, really! (It was cooler in ORLANDO yesterday than most places in the northern part of the country!)

Ya in NM where the fiancee is at, it's only in the 70's... Here, 100's. Yuck. Speaking of the fiancee, we might be moving to Austria next fall. She is setting up a meeting with some people to look at a 2 year work program over there. So it is possible that next fall/late summer (2013, after we get married), we may up and move over to Austria for two years.

that would be great--you could do a lot of traveling and see places all over Europe--

just one issue you might have--when you come back are you going to have to find a new job?? (and with a teaching job--if you are gone too long you have to re-take classes)

Yup, so we will see what she finds out. It may not work out, but at least we won't look back and say that we wish we had actually tried.

Since I am on the beginning certificate for teaching, I should still be able to renew without any problems. The first certificate expires after 4 years and then I go to a standard certificate. From what I understand, since I am in a mentoring program now, that will be enough to renew my certification. So I don't think it would be a problem. But who knows.

its a once in a lifetime thing---I know when I got my teaching job in japan I wouldnt have turned it down for anything---bad thing was hubby couldnt come (and he was the one who had wanted to do it in the first place) ....so he did a LOT of traveling those 2 years! So we spent 2 years partial apart (heck with his 24/7 IT job sometimes I didnt see him for days when we both lived in the same house--still that way now sometimes!)...think we did more talking via email during that time than we did talking before I left. It made returning home more like a 2nd honeymoon

but heck, yeah ...IF I were offered a chance to work in Austria I think fiep would be packing my bags (as well as as many of his family as he could fit into a suitcase!)...oh yeah.

Apparently I would be able to find a job over there pretty easily, and the company that wants my fiancee to come over there might even help find me a job. But again, who knows if we will be able to do it or not. If there aren't jobs that look like they fit what she wants she won't do it. Don't blame her, don't want her to do something she hates for 2 years.

Jobs are plentiful in most countries, especially when you have a degree.

a degree here only will get you barely above minimum wage (there are quite a few bachelors and masters degree holders who are currently working at fast food places just because that is the ONLY jobs available currently!).

finally the heat is back in the normal zone--had a nice breeze for the last day+....almost felt cool outside! (yeah its pretty dang strange to think ~80 is cool!).

making chili for dinner.

Depends on what your degree is in. If it is in Art, then ya, good luck finding a good paying job unless you are a seriously talented artist. History and English are along the same line.

Ya only in the lower 90's today instead of triple digits, which was a welcome sight. Still hot though.

hey now....I have a degree in yes ART (and education)...I have friends who got degrees in other areas INCLUDING: IT ..that are not able to find jobs--so its not just the humanities that are having problems getting jobs. (do ya want fries with that?)
(and no I am not seriously talented...I was not number one in my class....and recently found out that number one in my class---is now a preacher!)
